Kra-Hang Ghost.
Chapter 2: The Kra-Hang Ghost
I would like to present the Kra-hang ghost in this Thai ghost story. According to stories from ancient people, this ghost is as amazing as the first Krasue ghost in the Thai ghost series.
The Krasue ghost is a female ghost, as I have told you before; this one is a male ghost. You may be surprised. Why does my country have so many strange ghosts?
Thailand has many legendary ghosts and is separated into regions. If you enjoy reading ghost stories, follow me; I promise the Thai Ghost Series will not let you down.
Kra-Hang Ghost, Thai ghost series.
This type of ghost is one that only men possess. Some people say that a man who became a ghost because he studied too much about occultism became this ghost.
This ghost, when it goes out to find food, uses the method of flying. But don’t think that you can fly like gargoyles. They had shells to use as wings and pounded rice with their groins like the rudder of a ship.
Kradong is a woven container, flat in shape and rounded at the edge. Thai people in the past wove it with bamboo in a solid pattern for putting things in the sun to dry. The wooden rice pestle is quite heavy. It’s pounded to break up the rice.
You might be wondering why ghosts in Thailand don’t transform but instead use kra-dong instead of wings and rice-pounding pestles instead of rudders.
Some stories say that Krahang ghosts occur in the central region of Thailand, following the local culture of using baskets and pestles to pound rice.
Ghosts and demons from any locality will have characteristics according to the cultural traditions of that locality.
Ghost couple.
Let me tell you a story about a ghost couple. Previously, they weren’t ghosts and were an ordinary couple. Being a ghost is inherited through saliva. Like a zombie, if you get bitten by one, you turn into one as well.
Thai people say that these two ghosts were a pair of spirits from a past life. Some people say that it is a ghost that exists only in central Thailand and does not exist in other nations because it is a local ghost.
Kra-hang’s secret
Kra-hang is a ghost whose history is not well known. The shape is like a normal person but has a tail on the bottom. People in Krahang are very careful about their buttocks.
In addition to the tail on the bottom, Kra-Hang also has a rice-pounding pestle, which Kra-Dong uses as wings to fly during the night. There are no reports of Krarang attacking anyone.
Kra-hang ghosts are ghosts that like to keep themselves in dark places with doors and windows completely closed. Active at night. Kra-Hang’s favorite food is eating meat; he likes things that smell fishy and bloody, and Kra-Hang also likes to eat rotten things
If you are a tourist coming to Thailand, you don’t have to worry about encountering a Kra-Hang at night because it’s just a story. All tourists are welcome.
